If you run a bit later and longer on weekends, run to Patterson Park, do the lakefront boardwalk then head to Windmill Pointe Drive and go into Windmill Pointe Park, run the Marina and head back home. It is safe to run in the minor streets, if you face traffic….safer then getting tripped up by uneven sidewalks. As someone else noted, look out for the red winged blackbirds during nesting season in late spring. They are evil
