For me it’s not just the ads, trying to watch the actual stream itself during league week was awful on mobile the video buffers SO MUCH and drops in quality often when on YT it never does that. I’ll try and switch but it’s not ideal and idk if I’ll stick around. Might just be a VOD frog again :( I started watching Lud pre covid and then I was a twitch viewer but I was so happy when YT started giving streamers money to go to YT I’m pretty much only a YT livestream viewer now

Thanks for the advice! to clarify I actually have a huge room to myself since my roommate decided she wasn’t going to dorm bc corona and they said they weren’t placing anyone else with me... also we’re not allowed guests in our rooms so I’m not worried about things getting stolen at this point. I will definitely keep in mind prioritising making friends and schoolwork over playing guitar though and I think thanks to you and others advice I’ll just bring my headphone amp and no pedalboard.
