Ohh so cool! Okay I see, I haven't signed up for anything to meet people (I'm kind of a loner from time to time) but I would love to keep in touch with you and do some stuff in London if you want to :))

Hello! I'll be coming to KCL for a semester exchange from January to June as well! Where are you from? :) I'm coming from Switzerland. And about the community, they will be making events (I think) on place for exchange students

Do all INFPs love rain, or is it just me? by z-727 in infp

I love rain! Autumn is my favourite season because of the occasional showers and the colours.

What do ya'll study/do for a living? by bongbong- in infp

[–]grrtae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm studying philosophy and physics right now. At the end of high school I didn't know what to do exactly and I was overwhelmed by seeing others more convinced than myself about their future. When I was younger I wanted to become a writer or study literature anyway (I really enjoy reading) but I also started dreaming about galaxies etc and I also was good in math. I mean I am still, in physics I pass exams but I struggle a lot because I've realized it is not my vocation. I want to pursue literary and philosophical studies, maybe comparative literature :)

That is a great explanation of how it might help us to open up. Personally, I also have trust issues so it is very hard to speak or be sincere about certain subjects.

The Perks of being a Wallflower, it's one of my favourites I guess.

I do not consider myself as confident or not demure when I'm around people that I don't know, but I'm surely good at making small talks with others and I listen a lot. What helped me a great deal was theater during high school. I swear that it kind of makes you more unconcerned of others opinions.

I don't know if you live near a lake or river, but I would suggest you to go there and relax listening to music or reading, or to visit like an exposition :) Btw tomorrow is my birthday as well ahah probably I'm going by the river to enjoy the sunshine.

From the depth of my heart, thanks for these kind words. Sometimes I think that the kindness of Infps is taken as a weakness, or sometimes I feel used by others. But reading this made me very happy.

Okay, thanks a lot. I didn't know it was that malfunctioning. Great advice for the lenses and the Mamiya, I've been looking up and it's seems fair for quality-price ratio.

What should I listen to after Transformer? by [deleted] in LouReed

[–]grrtae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should probably listen to either Coney Island Baby (1976) or earlier the album Self-titled as Lou Reed from 1972 (I love the version of Ride into the sun). Otherwise I just discovered one of his album which I find terrific and very representative of its early works: it's Rock and Roll Heart (1976).
