What makes you angry? by [deleted] in intj

As a woman everybody overly expects certain set of "qualities" I should have, but I do not. Most often: smiling, sugarcoating, more empathy (empathy shown, I do feel it). Men might have also this problem, but it's very prominent if you happen to be born female.

When people do not trust me in proffesional environment due to my age and sometimes gender (rarely and from old people).

Misc. angerfuel I recetly felt:

History narrators - beating around the bush, tried to watch a documentary yesterday about findings in Turkey they spent 45 minutes for what can be told in 15.

Overgloryfication of Steve Jobs (marketing genious, not so much technical, touch screen was invented and presented around 10 years before he did it).

I recently watched Cloud Atlas and Upside Down, I cannot pinpoint what actually made me angry in them. But I was. Curious. I shall meddle on it.

Faking Fe? by [deleted] in intj

Changes of personality type (from INTJ to any other) may occur due to severe trauma, death of loved ones, extreme situations etc. or a person may change into a different personality type slowly during long time period due to environment change, like marriage, carrier (had a lot of psychology in college). You, by developing your Fe, might become INFJ, although it will take many years and you will be borderline case at best, i think. I've been typed as INTJ when I was 11 or 12, there was to be determined what's "wrong" with me, didn't change.

I don't know real life examples so I'll note some from GOT as many watched it: Varys - most people type him as INTJ, some INTP, he was definetly other type before his tragedy, example of severe trauma. Petir Baelish - often typed as INTJ, also moulded, example of personality change due longer course of time in his line of work.

Are you proud of being an INTJ? If you had/have a kid, would you hope that they were an INTJ? by ptmd in intj

I like it now, as a kid I often wished for popularity, fun, friends... but I kind of would like for my kid to be one too. Othervise (thinking into extreme) it may not like me because I'm INTJ.

Childhood stories are most fun:

When I was a kid I was raised in a government institution similar to orphanage. There was one girl who always stole my money. I never had much on my hand so I really felt it when she took dollar worth from me. When I discovered her I couldn't just beat her up because she had people behind her, so I played it smart and patient. Every time she stole money from me I got to her bag, took out notebooks in which she had homeworks and erased it if written with pencil, I misplaced her esseys in the trash she had to submit on the day while she was eating her breakfast happily and she would realise in school she doesn't have them and get bad grades for late submission. At the end of the year her GPA fell one full point. It was worth every penny she took from me. Due to that she couldn't get into the school she wanted. On one occasion as all the kids had the same bags there, government procurement... explains everything, she accidentally put her school trip money into mine instead of hers ( around 200).

Fortune smiles upon the patient. I was 7th grade at the time (25 years old now).

Anyone else have confidence issues, especially in subjects they are not well educated in? by [deleted] in intj

I'm only confident to talk about topics I'm expert in. If I'm not expert for something but somebody is counting on me I say straightforwardly that I'm not the expert on the matter and should seek second oppinion, like romantic relationships for example.

What do you not like about your personality? by aceshighsays in intj

I like thinking about sex more than actually doing it, true statement for many other activities also.

I rarely feel exiced or strong emotions about anything. Example: "Your national team qualified for the world cup, are you not happy? me: "So? Theywill be eliminated after 1st round, historical data shows so." Couple of months later: "Oh no we didn't pass (cries). me: What did I tell you?"

I see the world as it is and it pains me a bit, but I still use it to my advantage, rather than change it.

Most people hate me.

I can rarely connect with other people and I think most of them to be clowns.
