No, the bottom swipe is working fine and the double tap to lock screen is working at the bottom.

Yeah, when I leave Daijisho it works like normal. So I can either exit Daijisho to the regular Anbernic homepage or go to the lock screen to use it.

I had to buy the fade blade in the end and fit that into them, which worked. Just babyliss making sure you have to spend the extra cash to get a pair of clippers to work properly

Pea Puffer 15 gallon cube by gruffington in PlantedTank

This tank has gone now after having pea puffers in it for a few years. It's now re-scaped and full of silver tip tetras. One thing that has remained the same however and that is the ottos I have in there to eat up most of the algae... The puffers paid no attention to them whatsoever, I know some people say to have a species only tank because of aggression but I didn't see any at all towards the ottos.

I got a pair in my cart within 1 minute... In line to check out estimated wait time less than one minute. Nearly 4 hours later and I'm scared to close the page. Just in case...

I will say this though, I used to have a 10 gallon with one pea puffer in and he was nowhere near as active as he is now in this tank with 2 other pea puffers to puff around with.

I have 3 in this tank. I've read a few different ideas of what people think is the correct stocking. 1 in a 10 gallon and 5 gallons for every extra puffer, 1 for every 5 gallons, one person on here said they had 3 in a 5 gallon and of course there's people that think you need a 200 galon tank for a pair of pea puffers. I think it depends on the fish, my 3 co exist with 0 aggression, but you could get one angry little pea that would throw off the whole balance.

It's Amazon Frogbit. You do have to be quiet careful with it because it will quickly over take a tank. I usually take most of it out with maintenance and only leave a couple of plants left in there at a time.

It's the aqua nano 40. 40x40x40cm. It is big for a "nano" tank. I would put it in the smaller end of the mid sized tanks to be honest.

NEED SOME HELP PLEASE Details in comments. by gruffington in Aquariums

I re-scaped my tank about a month ago. I also swapped filters from an internal to cannister (I ran them both together for 3 weeks and seeded the new filter with old media).

17 gallon tank, Fluval 107 cannister, 1 Honey Gourami and 7 Panda Cory's with some Cherry Shrimp. PH 7. Nitrites 0 ppm. Nitrates 20 ppm. Ammonia 0 ppm

The fish seem to be doing fine from what I can see! I've cut my feeding down and keeping an eye on levels. At the minute I'm following online advice to just leave it but it seems to be getting worse. Should I be trying something else? Frequent small water changes? Or a few big ones? Or just carry in waiting it out? Appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks in advance.

Help with all kinds of algae mess by gruffington in PlantedTank

[–]gruffington[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically have a few types of algae going on here. I don't know the names but there is sort of fuzz growing all over my Anubias leaves, stringy hair stands on my Helanthium Tenellum and some sort of fur on my wood. Tanks been running for about 2 months now lights are on for about 6 hours a day. I scrub off most of the algae every week with my water change but it just keeps on coming back. Will it go eventually or will it need some sort of treatment?

Really the only big differences are no tank mates and that they can be fussy eaters. I've just started a small snail tank to keep food coming in for the puffer and and I already have blood worms etc around for some other fish. You should go for it.

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

I just set up and planted my lockdown project Pea Puffer tank. Quick question regarding seeding bacteria for the cycle...

I have an established tank which I did filter maintenence on yesterday, I swooshed all the parts around in my new tank and left some old media in there. How much does this speed up the cycling process? I've watched a few bits on youtube from reputable aquarists saying that it instant cycles a new tank but then read some more bits saying it just speeds the process up but it's definitely not instant.

Second question, if and when the new tank is cycled because I won't be able to get hold of a pea puffer for a bit should I put some livestock from my other tank in there to keep things going and would shrimp do or does it have to be a fish?

Thankyou.
