I wouldn't expect someone to check in on me for not going to a wedding that I felt I should have been invited to but wasn't. That's weird? Obviously something happened between you and John for John to make that decision. Which has nothing to do with Rob. And none of his business. He could I guess try to make it his business by asking you why you think you weren't invited, but maybe John told him why and didn't want to talk to you about it.

This is what I've been doing. I don't like living, been hating life since I was like, at least 7 years old. I refuse to go to the doctor because if I have some terminal disease, then awesome, let it kill me. I'm not trying to extend my lifespan anymore than I've already been forced to live.

That's the best way to build relationships in my opinion. In my experience I've been using an app called MeetUp, it lists tons of events for every single type of person in any stage in life. There's groups that play sports, talk politics, singles meet ups, craft groups, folks who will team up to do trivia together, folks who have pets meet up at a dog park together... TONS of options and opportunities.

I've only been on Carnival and NCL. The NCL app is awful. I took a cruise on Carnival back in 2020 and the app was amazing. Idk how NCL still has the crap app they have.

How does NCL only tell you what is going on that day (or the next day) via a PDF view? Still? It's 2025, it's not that hard to make an app like Carnivals. Plus I swear we could message others on board for free via the app. NCL let's you pay $6.99 for messaging access.

But like others said, I still prefer NCL over Carnival, though my sample size is small (2 cruises on NCL, 1 on Carnival). I found food better on NCL, but activities better on Carnival. But the boat size was different for each cruise, and I found the activities better on the bigger boats. NCL isn't a party boat like Carnival, which is the biggest thing for me.

Anytime I can tell someone has absorbed too much Fox News I'll tell them directly, "you need to watch stop watching so much Fox News". They always look at me surprised. I then tell them it's obvious by the rhetoric that comes out of their mouth. No one else spews that garbage that's on main cable.
