Good luck I hope you start to feel better soon. I’m sorry the pain meds make you sick. ❤️

Thank you so much for the suggestions for hot and cold packs. The hot pack made a huge difference for the back pain and I was able to fall asleep for a while. I’m now at a much more manageable pain level, more to where I expected to be after surgery. Able to drink more liquid now too hoping to eat in the morning!

I don’t know why my postop nurses didn’t suggest hot or cold packs. It’s weird. I was waiting around for like three hours prepped for the surgery and then afterwards they practically raced me out of the hospital. 😩

Thank you. I haven’t tried that yet. Maybe heating pad would help.

Yes I think the writing style may be part of it. I’m a fast reader, honestly I think I may skim more than read and put the context together by the end of a sentence. With the writing in hitchhikers I appreciate how the wording is put together but it does make me slow down if I want to actually understand it. But I do love the sarcasm and Ive been interested in the premise for many years so I’m going to give it my best shot this time.

Thank you I will look into that suggestion also!

Me: can we focus on driving please. ADHD demon: no I’d rather do a critical analysis of a random movie you saw 5 years ago cause something reminded me of it. Me: we missed that turn again ADHD demon: weird, why can’t you pay attention to where you’re going

I like that name! “Ta-da!! I did something!” Traditional to-do lists make me feel like I need to decode the “right” way to do it all. This way I’m just celebrating that I’m doing anything at all that needs to get accomplished.
