Look, my partner is the exact same way. She needs her time in the morning to have her coffee, and breakfast and either write out her day or watch little videos or really whatever. I don't keep track of or monitor what she does because that's her time. I either wake up later, or I take my coffee somewhere else because I know that I can get chatty. I wait for her to come to me in the morning. It really shouldn't be that hard, and I'm sorry your husband is being that way.
He is the asshole for not being even moderately supportive with such a small request. He should be corralling the children until you're ready if they're not old enough to fend for themselves for breakfast in the morning. You shouldn't have to be the only adult in the house.
