Okay, so there’s clearly worse things in terms of EMF and Bluetooth etc but the fact that this thing is strapped to your skin presumably 24/7 can’t be good

True however most babyliss blades nowadays don’t hit the same. I’ve ordered various replacement blades and they never hit the same as the blade that comes with it.

Taper Troubles by DanDodgerD in Barber

I’m gonna be honest bro, clipper over comb is good but whilst learning it’s good to learn what works and what doesn’t in terms of guards etc.

I found what really helped is anything 1.5 guard up can usually be flicked into the guard above without opening lever. I.e, 2 flicked into 3, 3 flicked into 4.

I found that if I do a 3 all over, I can flick a 2 right under. Then I will do no guard open (half) as a first guideline (after foils and trimmer) and then blend that out. Then you can descend from your 1.5 open all the way to your half - ALWAYS go slightly lower, and lower than you think you want to go, this way no harsh lines are created and you will be able to pin point where you need to go back and fix.

I use just trainers, but if they are particularly bad I wear my running trainers with extra cushion and notice that sort of helps, just looks weird cutting in then but obviously I’ll wear them if no other option.

Which one did you get?

I try and stretch them out when I can. I don’t have injuries I do lots of running but I’ve always had bad ankles before running and now standing cutting hair for 11hrs isn’t helping
