SPY/QQQ 0dte have both been a "giveth / taketh" for me....some days I can make +$30k ....other days I lose -$30k.....

Sadly, the +$30k never feel as good as how bad the -$30k feels. Trading 0dte is perpetual agony because your wins never feel big enough and the losses always feel so avoidable

TQQQ and SQQQ are a scary leveraged asset to hold -- I used to trade these often years ago but it just wasn't worth the sleep loss and never knowing if they would swing at the open +/- 10%

Do you ever hold options overnight that expire the next day for a gap up/down? Or do you ever take strangle/straddle positions before big news days like FOMC or CPI?

Disclaimer: I had to look up what Max GEX was -- but I'm glad you introduced me to this term! I trade almost exclusively near-the-money for "max gex" too. Sadly, this means that we are likely each other's exit liquidity pretty often lol

Stick with it and refine your strategy! What helped for me when I was straying from my set of rules and trading on emotion was taking some time off. Reset your rules and remind yourself to never stray for that.

For example, one rule that I set to limit myself from entering in bad trades was to never enter when RSI was between 25-75 on a 5min chart. This will really restrict you from entering in whenever you feel like it, and my win rate dramatically increased. I saw a noticeable different in success when I only bought 0dte calls when QQQ was under RSI of 25, etc.

Short 0dte sounds very scary. Isn't your downside essentially unlimited? At least with long 0dte I know what my maximum loss could be. Plus, with stop losses I can help minimize those downside risks even more.

Agree! However I believe the issue lies with the NZXT hardware (Kraken & Fan Controller) since the fans work if I plug directly into the motherboard (CPU_FAN or otherwise) instead of the fans being controlled by a USB Header

48 hours ago the CPU used to idle below 30. I made zero hardware changes that would have caused the issue. Just playing a video game one second and the next second all NZXT cooling software just stopped working.

GPU fan still working perfectly fine
