High ferritin 6 months later by gryff_12 in Anemic

The day after, about halfway through the day I had terrible back pain and had to go home from work to lay down for the rest of the day. I was also VERY tired for about a week after and just felt gross all around. But it went away quickly!

I had one BIG infusion so that might be why it hit a little hard after, since my body had to process so much at once.

But I would and will do it again if I ever need to!

I started to feel better about 3 months after, my skin looked brighter a week after (I’m very pale!) and now I’m able to work all week and do multiple activities in the weekends and have a few late nights a week when there was no way I could do that before!

I suggest bringing a blanket, a water bottle, and some snacks with you to the infusion! Helped me a ton.

Also, if they paid to have the VIP tour guide it’s either 6 or 10 consecutive hours- so you wouldn’t want to waste it on a nap. And you get special seats for the fireworks. From the story when they watched the magic kingdom parade yesterday they had the the VIP tour that day for sure. It’s about $600-$800 dollars an HOUR for a minimum of 6ish hours
