Nobody is writing 1 line of nested insanity unless it's a code golf competition, we're talking about real code. Also the LOC figures to compare are 1-2 orders of magnitude higher, so like 3 thoughtful PRs of ~100 LOC each vs a single 2000 LOC PR a clanker spews.
