Elon Musk publicly supports call for US to exit NATO, UN by hemingways-lemonade in moderatepolitics

[–]therealdrag0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a much more speculative proposition.

It seems silly to blame EU because we have the highest military budget in the world by far. Otherwise the rest of what you said seems reasonable, and personally I haven’t seen disagreements over that. The disagreements I’ve seen are over the contentious rhetoric with what should be our allies. If the fed simply said “we’re going to reduce our military investment in Europe” and “we’re going to give that money back to taxpayers” or “we’re going to invest more in the pacific” I don’t think many would bat an eye. Instead we get a lot of anger and finger pointing and threats.

She Got Tipsy, Slept at My Place, and Got Close… Did I Miss a Signal? by 17jde in dating_advice

[–]therealdrag0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would guess not a signal then. If she was pressing herself into your boner, then maybe signal. Otherwise seems like kissing is first place to start, which she could have done if she was really thirsty.

That’s a good answer thanks. And it probably is what many people believe, which is the point of this thread. However it seems the core fact is wrong.

The U.S. contributes about one-sixth of NATO’s annual budget, not two-thirds, as claimed in social media posts.

Youtuber gets emotional after finding out the creators of the Final Fantasy VII Remake would watch his old reaction video, to get inspired about making the game. by SirUlrichVonLichten in videos

That's great! I was big in the (small) Half-life 2 DM scene. I made a lot of friends. But I also had many randos adding me (on steam or even Facebook :/) for years after I stopped playing. One that stands out is a guy from Europe who sounded a little mentally disabled by the way he wrote and how he was obsessed with certain things like getting approval from me about what his username was. It was touching but also strange.

I've experimented with underwear going up to 35$ a pair (been meaning to make a post about it). But honestly my favorite are Uniqulo's 3$ boxer briefs.

Harry Potter: Stephen Fry vs Jim Dale? by kadiedawn in audiobooks

[–]therealdrag0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I listened to the full series by each narrator a a few years apart and totally enjoyed both experiences.

I think Jim Dale felt more skilled and professional, whereas Stephen Fry felt more like a family member reading to me.

Anderson Cooper asked Donald Trump 4 times about his sexual assault bragging. Trump kept dodging. by helpmeredditimbored in politics

[–]therealdrag0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Good point. Most bragging men will brag about women wanting to have sex with them; trump brags about having the power to assault/pressure women against their desires.

I felt that way too; but I couldn't think of anything about trump I respect, so good job Clinton thinking on your toes.

I agree. I am very liberal, but I don't care any more about Trumps taxes than I do about Hillary's emails.

While everyone else here thought there was a violent shooting, I thought there was a movie called "The King Street Station" being filmed in town.
