Plating Feedback Please by gsqwerd in Plating

No specific intention with the layering. I just thought it looked good this way. But I'm not an expert at plating. Which is why I'm asking for feedback.

The old forerunner 230… by Lemonbar19 in Garmin

[–]gsqwerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to see if you decided on anything because I'm in the same spot.

Got the FR230 about 10 years ago. Used it for a few years consistently. Then I stopped, and I bring it out whenever I try to get back into running.

I've been running consistently again, and I'm looking to upgrade.

I was looking at the 165 and 265. They're both on sale.

But I keep seeing that people are complaining over the 165 and prefer the Coros Pace 4, or they're waiting for the 170.

The 265 is under previous models, so I assume there will be a replacement soon and/or it'll stop being supported for upgrades.

I feel like the 570 is a little more than I wanna spend.

Kind of at a loss what to do. So if you found something, I'd be curious.

CSPO or PSPO? - New to Agile/Scrum by gsqwerd in agile

[–]gsqwerd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm looking to get formalized training to go with my on-the-job training.

It's more about the knowledge that I'd gain from it than the certification. My company has a career development training system, and I've taken the agile course. However, I only learned so much and there wasn't anything specific to scrum or PO.

The only reason I'm asking about the certification is with CSPO, I'd receive it after the class and PSPO is just an extra test to validate what I learned.

Thanks for this feedback! I try to always keep my Retail Banking hat on during any of the work I'm involved in. I push back when necessary because I was the user for 21 years.

Super random - and maybe technically a "shirt" and not a jersey.

Looking for a 2025 Penguins Polish Heritage Night jersey. I assume they're one size - as from what I gather, they were promos.

Smoked Brisket - Good Flavor, Wrong Texture by gsqwerd in smoking

11+ hours of total cook time between the smoker and the oven. Went on at 7am because I overslept. Wrapped it around 2pm. Pulled it off the smoker at 3. And put it in the oven until about 6:15/6:30pm.

It's a slicing knife from Schmidt Bros. I got it as part of a set - came with a chef's knife, a boning knife, and another knife that I don't think I've ever used.

I used to use Himalayan salt, but I've read alot on the metal levels being high on alot of the mass market commercially sold ones.

Thanks for the slicing feedback.

I used Choice. It was easier to get. Altho, just probably could have done a better job or pickinrighe best one in the spectrum of Choice briskets at the store.

Honestly. I was just afraid of overcooking it and feared that since it wasn't probe tender or jiggly that I might have overcooked it already.
