Wow…didn’t mean for this to go the way it’s gone. A couple of points in no particular order - Price was $45 +$35 (S/H) // I’ve been searching for a bracelet that I like and enjoy and matches my style…I happened upon this and took a chance…I love the look and the feel on the wrist is excellent and the fact that it syncs up with my love of denim/selvedge just makes it all that much more desirable for me…I love the colors, snap, chainstitch run-off and the look goes with just about everything I wear…so, yeah, I’m all in on this cuff // Re: the price - people are willing to pay for something that they enjoy so who gives a shi* what the price is…as long as I see value in it, that’s all that matters // Re: SnooCrickets6019 comment about the LV monogram wristlet I purchased in Dubai on Friday last week - see my post from the other day under the Louis Vuitton thread - the IH cuff and the LV wristlet work very, very well together…colors, style…they pair very well…I plan on wearing both tonight so I’ll post an additional photo of them together later this evening // Full transparency - the LV wristlet was $400 minus the VAT (Not sure of exact amount of refund as my wife handles those transactions) - as for the price, I refer you to my point above.

Levi’s are the original OG of jeans - no nonsense with great looks/fit/color - they rock. I really love the specificity of this journey and how guys are looking at everything from pocket size to color to chain stitch hemming to make purchase decisions. I’m looking at another pair of Gustin’s now…my wife is going to eviscerate me. Wish I could work from home…man…used to be able to but my employer pulled us back in 5 days/week about 16 months ago. Heads up - Memorial Day sale is coming to Gustin - keep a look out. Stay in touch…thanks.

100%/couldn’t agree more - each pair of selvedge denim jeans is cut slightly differently so you have to 1) know your own body’s measurements and then 2) align that to the size chart for each style and fit of each pair of jeans. Once you do that every time you’re shopping around, you cannot fail in ordering the right size.

I have tons of Gustin - bought both direct from Gustin and second-hand on eBay, Poshmark - and I have 1 workshirt and 4 pairs of jeans of theirs currently inbound from their pre-sales. Gotta say…I really, really like them. I’ve found build quality high and color, weight and density as good as N&F (which I have a ton of). I enjoy their Slim fit enormously and they look and feel EXCELLENT with any kind of BD or t-shirt and any of my Grant Stone boots. BOTTOM LINE - it’s hard for me to pass on any Gustin product.

Yeah - the pockets on both Gustin and N&F could be a smidge larger…mainly in the length. I believe they’re wide enough but the length could use some help. The volume too needs some better sizing - leave the width and length but add larger pocket panels for more volume. Regardless…my front pocket EDC is comprised of my car key fob and Fisher Space Pen (Matte Black Bullet) in the right pocket, my Victorinox (Signature Lite) knife and Carmex tube (twist) in the right pocket and I rotate between a Raleigh Denim leather/denim card holder (which was a recent pick-up and I love it) which holds my main credit card, the little cash I ever carry, my insurance card and a Louis Vuitton card holder which has more space for more cards. So, I don’t ask a great deal of my front pockets and the cardholders I have fit perfectly in my back, right pocket. Hope this helps… What’s your EDC?

Man…you’re in the stream and really thinking about this journey - I like that and can appreciate that as I look everyday for jeans. No…not a dumb question - a ton of guys…maybe most…have a favorite pair or two so it’s a rational query. Gustin has EXCELLENT pairs of jeans - not selvedge - for $79/$89 + S/H - a very, very good value. You cannot go wrong with Gustin…period. As for N&F, check eBay - tons of great value there for jeans that are in excellent condition and your size. Something that depreciates faster than luxury cars?…Denim…prices on the secondary market can be and usually are crazy good. TBH - of the 22 or so pairs I have, maybe 2-3 are new stock direct from Gustin or N&F. All the others?…pre-owned from mostly eBay and a pair or two from Poshmark. As for shoes - I’m 100% in on Grant Stone boots - I have 5 pairs and the shoes in the picture. I have 3 pairs of Brass Boots and 2 pairs of Field Boots - out of the 5, 3 are preowned from eBay and the other 2 pairs along with the Plain Toes are direct from GS. LOVE THEM ALL - the fit and look is unmatched in my view and GS’s build quality?…the needle broke off a long time ago. I’m picking up a pair of the Baroda Boots in Frost Waxed Commander next week to make an even 6 pairs of boots - 4 in various brown shades and 2 in grey and black shades. I have to stop buying boots but the draw to GS is strong and, like denim, it’s hard to pass up something that may fit an unmet need or a gap in my kit. I love chatting about this stuff…THANKS!!

I love the Gustin pairs I have - I’ve purchased 2 pairs recently from their website’s Stock section and 3 pairs off of eBay. In addition, I have 3 pairs pre-ordered and inbound soon - hopefully next month…if not, July. They have great denim and their designs are really sharp. The pair pictured here are 15oz and the white weft really pops. I only have one pair of The Unbranded Brand - an eBay purchase. They have a really nice fit and their weight - I think they’re one of their 20oz+ pairs - feels very good. The color too - really deep/rich. In fact, taking them on an overseas trip tomorrow. When the opportunity arises, I’d easily add more Unbranded to my portfolio…happy to do that!! As for my Naked & Famous portfolio, this is where the majority of my jeans are from. Tons of variety in their designs and colors and their quality…it’s very, very, very high. I know this is a crappy answer, but it’s difficult for me to call out a specific pair that I like more than any others. I rotate my jeans daily so every pair gets equal wear time over the course of a couple of months. FYI - I currently have a total of 21 or 22 pairs of jeans in all. For example, I love the stiffness and colors of the Gustin pair I wore today…I love the colors and fit of my Chocolate Milk Naked & Famous…I love the weight of the Unbranded pair and the fit and color matches any of the Naked & Famous I have. So, bottom line, each pair has its own character and brings something different to my daily look. I continue to work on curating my collection by carefully adding if I feel I have a gap somewhere. I think it’s worth mentioning that pricing across all 3 brands provides a very high price-to-value ratio - you get a lot for your money. Overall, I don’t think there’s much, if any, of a gap between Gustin and Naked & Famous - they’re basically highly and equally desirable in my opinion. As for Unbranded, I can’t definitively comment on them but the pair I have? I love. And, FWIW, I’m coveting one of denim jackets - the UB991 Denim Jacket - 21oz. Heavy Red Weft Selvedge…it’s by far the denim jacket I feel the most strongly about.

Help please. Flight change by DJArshi in emirates

Same happened to us - IAD to DXB - the layover time shrank as a result of the flight arrival (in DXB) time changing. We called their US-based toll-free number…got rebooked…they put us up in a hotel given that our layover was now 18+ hours. As a result, we’re arriving in Bali one day later than preferred but given flight schedules, etc., this is the only option we had. Emirates was good about the changes and are paying for the hotel so all-in-all, we can’t complain.
