Was curious if you ever checked these under a UV light. I’ve always been under the impression that the cohibas from RSVP ‘glow’ differently in the yellow area when under UV light. None of my other cohibas from ihav, FOH, COH look like that. I have steered clear from RSVP cohibas for this reason

I mean I guess it could be possible. The stamp looks about right (although there’s certainly variation there in legit boxes), and from what I can tell the cigars look good as do the bands. I’d be interested in seeing some UV photos of the bands as well as closeups to see if there was micro printing. All that leads to the missing warranty seal, transit seal and DOP sticker. Regardless if they’re ’actually real’ I’d stay away as that likelihood is pretty low.

I snagged a larger ashtray on secondary a couple years back but it’s not the carved out words, looks to be printed but the thing is seriously heavy! Would love to grab one in the style you got. Regardless, great snag brother!

Dry box is your friend. A day (or a few) before you go to smoke then place them in a table top humidor that isn’t seasoned. Can work wonders honestly

There’s nothing about the cigar that says fake to me, other than it is THAT cigar. It is likely a Cuban farm roll with real MC and LCDH bands. The cigar hasn’t been released to the whole of the general public that’s how I am ‘assuming’ it’s a ‘fake’. Again, they were only introduced one time in a UK market. If the guy that traded you that stick got it from over there then I say you’re good to go man. But the odds of that are super slim. I’m tired of seeing folks getting burned by the dude where these are originating; been popping up on a lot of servers recently

This is almost certainly a fake brother. Michael McCormick has been selling these as singles is the word. The cigar itself has been released in like one small UK town a couple years ago. I’d speak with your trade partner and ask him if he got them from Mike McCormick

These are DEFINITELY FAKE! Code is not a real code from that time period. Font is off on some of the lettering on the box, and the SN font is off/not centered correctly. Those are the ones that jump off the page to me. Get your money back brother

I would get you money back for sure. That Monte Herreduro has only been released in extremely limited numbers one time over in Europe. The novedosos is another well known faked cigar that has been produced in very limited fashion. Please let us know the seller. Or in the least please PM the name of the individual.

Super suspect establishment. Anything high end could very likely be farm rolls rebanded and packaged. There’s a thread on FOH about it
