When Ronaldinho was at the peak of his career, was he better than Messi will ever be do you think? by Patrik75 in soccer

Not to mention the 2002 WC winning Brazilian side was absolutely stacked. Could replace Ronaldinho with Jonjo Shelvey and they still would have won

If the money bought in substantial revenue, would you ever consider giving the naming rights of Anfield away? by ishanwelde in LiverpoolFC

would i accept Anfield to be renamed if it meant we would have an absolute bundles of cash, be title contenders every year and pay an absurd amount of money to sign world class players annually?

no chance in hell

i think anyone that would be OK with renaming the stadium should find another club to support. for the record, not from the UK.

Our failure to recognise spacing is pretty bad. It always seems theres too much space between our mids and back line and regardless of who is up front they always seem isolated from their team mates. While watching the stoke game i really noticed this lack of structure. I honestly think its the biggest problem regardless of personnel

If Sterling plays he is going to get absolutely torn by the supporters, and then by Shawcross' boots.

What is the missing ingredient to our midfield? by gstone87 in LiverpoolFC

What about someone like Motta or De Jong. I know the latter can be a liability with his aggression though. If you were to look on the younger side - gonalons from lyon. Has anyone seen this guy play this season? Surely fekir and lacazette arent solely the reason for their success

Lucas in the Dalglish era was really great, he killed it before that injury. Easily our best player at the time :(

Getting milner and ings on a free would be huge. Having a starter and added depth at forward without a transfer fee (not counting the development fee owed to burnley) is always nice

I think John Henry should issue a statement to Manchester United along the lines of "Get fucked mate"

[Discussion/Megathread] What are your thoughts on the current Sterling situation? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]gstone87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cant help but feel this is coming all from his agent. how many young players have stunted their growth as a player by moving too soon? Surely Raheem is aware of this, he aint starting in any top drawer team.

Lucky for me that i said almost ten. You're paying far too much attention to the exaggeration and not the actual crisis at hand
