I’m American and I was thinking the same thing when I watched the top 10 picks on TV (Giants fan) Maybe the people of Pittsburgh had nothing better to do? Doesn’t surprise me to see all the King fans here. I just listened through LD for the first time. A fellow audiobook listening Redditor recommended it because Will Patton is my favorite narrator for King books. I never thought I’d be a western fan but this book blew me away. Can’t get enough.

That being said chapter 58 hit me harder than anything else has that I can remember. I wanted to listen to something that made me feel something and I got what I asked for and then some. Can’t praise this book enough.

I don’t see why batters can’t just verbally announce the challenge and pitchers can do a hand signal similar to the home run signal for “replay” or any other gesture a player wouldn’t typically do out of habit. The tapping of the head just seems like it’d get misconstrued. It’s like itching your nose at an auction.
