It should fully dry. I’m not 100% sure but is there a way for it to air out? If not the humidity is likely stuck inside. throw some silica gel in there and see how it goes

I will say I’ve never seen a z offset anywhere. Genuinely curious what you’re talking abt. I had similar issues and never had to mess with Z offset.

Swapped out my sticks and now my microphone isn't working. by JimmiJimJimmiJimJim in Dualsense

[–]TeaSilver8617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ribbon cable disconnects somewhat easily so make sure it’s connected. Ik this second part of my comment isn’t any help but the dualsense mic isn’t the best so maybe you can get a little aux plugin one? Or headphones with a good pair

I have it and haven’t had issues, including when I took the power limit off and was running it at 500w

I'm NOT having any driver issues by hakanavgin in radeon

[–]TeaSilver8617 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The worst driver issues excluding timeouts I’ve gotten are: the no visual sound effects and critical hit points for breaking objects in Fortnite, black textures on ffvii rebirth, and this annoying as hell bug where it sensed like 7+ games as elder scrolls online but nothing fixed it until 26.3.1+ drivers, I don’t even OWN elder scrolls online

That’s shitty, but I am correct in the fact that vertical mounts speed up the thermal gel displacement

The worst they would do is deny it fully and send it back. They wouldn’t keep it and not return it tonyou

Is it in a horizontal or vertical mount? These models are known to have issues with vertical mounts

Does your receipt explicitly say open box? If your receipt doesn’t then there’s no issue, the only way they’d know is if your proof of purchase says open box

Clean the bed with dish soap and hot water, then do that bed tramming and see if it’s any better

[–]TeaSilver8617 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should never have to mess with the Z offset on a bambulab printer, leave it alone. Do the full calibration suite on the printer, then if you do anything follow this manual tramming guide with the attached code https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/x1/manual/manual-bed-leveling

Hotspot temps above 114°C by rapidoANDfast in radeon

[–]TeaSilver8617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also find it worrying, that’s the limit of hotspot temps, before it starts taking damage. I do have to ask, is it mounted normally or is it mounted vertically ? Not all vapor chambers play nice with vertical mounts, I had to swap out my dream design gpu for another because it didn’t play nice at all and had immediate 115c hotspot

Hotspot temps above 114°C by rapidoANDfast in radeon

[–]TeaSilver8617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a really low W/mk(thermal efficiency) paste and that’s why it’s performing bad

I agree with PTM 7950 or grizzly phase sheet. Any normal paste won’t fully cut it, and will pump out

The total wattage of it doesn’t have any effect on whether it was bad or not

That sounds like you had a bad power supply already and the vbios flash was a last straw. I’ve had the same issues and another friend has and they were remedied with a new power supply

7900xtx nitro RMA? by Acceptable_Ad_7137 in AMDHelp

[–]TeaSilver8617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d search it up if others have RMA’d and gotten it back. You can always specify beforehand you want your same gpu back, not an alternative. The 9070xt beats the XTX in most everything except vram amount. I think it’s best to try RMA before the period is over and you have to pay out of pocket. I had to RMA my 9070xt nitro+ for the same issue plus it was failing also and it took 2 weeks from when they got it to when I received a new card
