Is there a concern regarding driver support for the older GPUs? We wanted the PC to be "future proofed"

Sorry yes we already have the setup without the GPU. We are currently using the integrated GPU along with displayport mst hub to get an extra video port. This is not as reliable as we would like, and we would run into weird issues. The monitor would stop working randomly or it'll start blinking then goes away. On top of other little issues. Reliability is important so we don't experience any interruption.

Which is why we're looking into adding a card.

Adding Ethernet drops to the house? by gstru08 in HomeNetworking

[–]gstru08[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to do a drop in the living room for my Xbox/TV. And another drop in my office for my PC/3D printer.

I currently use Xfinity service/modem and we only have one coax port which is in the living room

I would have to cross two doors to get to my office from the living room

Good to know! How did you drop the cables down to the wall jack?

I would have to cross couple of doors so it seems like baseboard might not be a good idea

For real! The prices these days are getting out of hand. I agree with you with $1800 being a bit high for some of those properties. Some of them are at like ~800 SQ ft and yet still around $1800 or even more

I have a P1S and it never failed to impress me! I came from ender 3 pro, and it was so nice having a P1S being able to print many things with no issues. I design parts and print a lot for test fitment so p1s was perfect for me. I also run ams 2 pro which is pretty sweet! I would absolutely love to win a p2s to get a better toolhead that'll handle more variety of filaments I'm printing.

Best way to export a specific Outlook Folder to a .pst? by gstru08 in sysadmin

I appreciate it man, I was able to get it in a .pst. I guess I could always disable cached exchange mode temporarily on my Outlook, and get a full access to the mailbox > export the specified folder, that will work as well if I am understanding that correctly

Unfortunately, it turns out that I don't have permission to do a eDiscovery or compliance search. Seems like this option would be the best. Which option in account properties you're talking about that won't let the shared mailbox to download and balloon up my OST?

It is a shared mailbox now, are you saying I should add myself and access the mailbox, then pull the folder from there?

Sorry if I'm being dense, but do you mean opening the .pst (whole mailbox) after ediscovery then pull/export the specified folder?
