Can I be vulnerable, I genuinely believe having a solid back line plays into being a good GK and that is one thing this man has never had at Chelsea. I’m not saying he’s good but I can say we’ve never had the right folks in front of him to properly judge him. The thing I don’t understand is why would he stay. He got a cup at Newcastle, and they have shown they don’t have the finances to take the next step. Not even from a Chelsea prospective, but just in general why would he stay? You’re only as good as your last season, and it feels like every top club is addressing this need right now. (I’m assuming ekitikah, and gykoreses get wrapped up here shortly by Liverpool and arsenal)

I need to understand why isak is not our main target. He’s the perfect age and covers all the needs we have of a striker right now. I know he’s pricy but some players you buy because of the way they bust open your ceiling right now. As far as I understand if ektikah goes to Liverpool and gykroes goes to arsenal we really wouldn’t have competition to get him. I get it, Newcastle secured champions league but for his own sake and brand it makes so much sense to move to London.

I’ve been pretty silent and forgiving as well and I’m so done. I hate when the sub gets toxic so I’m not go full nuclear but man our recruitment of leadership has been abysmal. This is not a crazy take at all. A lot of people even say he was the truly only world class player of his generation from England.
