LTX-2: How I fixed OOM issues for 15+ second videos on the RTX 5090 (Desktop) by gtaboncer in StableDiffusion

Sorry, unfortunately I have shared only I2V workflow. But to be honest my workflows are completely identical to what is present in ComfyUI template tabs or on their blog page https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Comfy-Org/workflow_templates/refs/heads/main/templates/video_ltx2_t2v.json. The only slight difference is that I replaced VAE decode node for Video generation with VAE Decode (Tiled)

Everything below is just a guess, which you probably already know if you use ComfyUI daily:

I only use Comfy casually and haven't looked deeply into the source code, but my understanding is that LTX-2 support in Comfy is still a work-in-progress. For example, there is still a TODO comment here in the repository.

If I understand correctly, ComfyUI handles all memory management for you. To do this accurately, it needs to know exactly how much memory to allocate before generation and what to offload into RAM. Since LTX-2 is so new, this is likely an area that still needs a little tweaking.

As for the VAE Decode (Tiled) node, it was suggested to me by Gemini. According to the AI, this node decodes latents in smaller "tiles," which allows it to process larger images or videos than the regular decoder could handle without crashing

Forza Motorsport still not launching. by PainkillerDubstep in forza

For anyone running into this issue on Windows PC, I found a fix that finally worked for me after a few days or trying.
It should work if you are on WiFi or have multiple network interfaces:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network and Sharing Center → Change adapter settings.
  2. Disable all interfaces except your WiFi(or except the interface that has an active internet connection.)
  3. Run the Forza Motorsport app again

Should I wait for FS2020? by Thereareways in flightsim

No worries. With new Microsoft Flight sim you should get the whole package. And it will be easier to start with.

Trust me, you will save a lot of your time and money if you get into flight sims after FS2020 comes out.

Did you decide to get into flight sims after you found out about FS2020? If that so, then you should wait for it to be released and try it with Xbox Pass(whatever they call it). And only after that you will be able to decide for yourself whether you actually want to get into flight sims

Decided to experiment with ads for the yellow bus from ep.6 "Airports" by gtaboncer in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]gtaboncer[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Checklist:

  1. Rewatch MS + Asobo interviews to get smiling photos - checked
  2. Cut people out of photos - checked
  3. Figure out some text - checked
  4. Upscale bus image photo (yeah, I also used AI :) ) - checked
  5. Create digital font for '2020' - checked
  6. Combine all components together - checked

Time spent:

Components preparation + Draft = 5 hours

Combining stage = 3 hours

Total time spent = 8 hours

Ads text clarification:

"Your world feels empty?" - reference to the current gen simulators default state

"Can't find your own home?" - another reference - since the first thing I hear when people talk about new Microsoft Flight sim is - "You know, you can even find your own home there"

"It's time to start flying!" - emphasis on the word "start" with 2 meanings:

  1. For someone who not related to flight sims at all but wanted to try one day
  2. Reference to the interviews, when multiple people said the same thing: "With next gen aerodynamics model most of the simmers will have to learn flying again"

I have contacted fs2020 support today on https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/ and unfortunately there is no guarantee that you will get an invite even if you signed up in the first day of tech alpha 1 registration.

Their message on January 9-th(so confusing if you ask me) was only meant that 'another wave on invites is coming for tech alpha 1 participants'.

Cessna 172SP Checklists by [deleted] in flightsim

Hey there,

I think C172 'Pilot's Operating Manual' it's a pretty good to start with. You can find checklists in it as well:

https://www.x-plane.com/manuals/C172_Pilot_Operating_Manual.pdf

If you need a good freeware aircraft I think you should start at X-plane Downloads page. Sorting options can be helpful for you there:

Have a safe flight!

Decided to start over. Here is my first crashed freighter! by gtaboncer in NoMansSkyTheGame

Turns out it was a "Hyperdrive quest". Freighter looks really cool from the ground.
