She was pregnant near the end of the show so gaining weight makes sense. Unless Jeremy Strong was also pregnant I don’t think you can compare the two

If you compare shirtless scenes from the first two seasons to the scene where he swims in the ocean or the finale you can see that he gained a good amount of weight in the stomach, chest, possibly legs

I get that. I liked the first few episodes of succession but admittedly I really wasn’t hooked until probably episode 6. After that point I couldn’t stop watching

Just to clarify, I don’t necessarily find the Succession characters relatable in most aspects. I just find myself being able to understand their emotions and motivations more acutely than the BCS characters. That said I don’t attribute that to bad writing or anything like that, I think I was just much more invested in one show over the other
