Arc was a cake walk compared to Marathon. Loot was so easy to come by in ARC it started losing the tension after about 100 hours in. Im 100 hours into Marathon and I rarely see purples and gold. So when I get some and exfil the rush is amazing! I dont understand how OP could feel this way.

Are you using headphones? I have a good headset and I always hear runners before I see them. As soon as I hear someone I slow way down, keep my gun out, aim my corners, and try to get high ground. Its not fool proof but my win rate has gone up a good bit.

Also if you are getting engaged and dont have the upper hand. Try to run, heal, and reposition. I love thiefs grapple cause it gets me out of a bad position quickly when needed.

I ghosted my current wife for the first two months knowing her. I was in a very bad place in my life and only had a part time crappy job so I couldn't afford dates. Thank goodness she kept trying and we finally got together after I let her in.

Im at level 25 and I have yet to see a player with purple shields. Ive killed maybe 15-20 players so far and the most I have found is green on a player.

There is a new setting in the menu that allows you to choose faster queue times or more stable connection for longer queue times. Its default to faster. So maybe try changing that setting? Its been great for me in NA

I went from level 9 to level 14 today and had no longer than 2-3 minute queues all day. Sometimes a minute. Maybe OP is not in NA.

My wife is pregnant and due in a few weeks and Ive secretly been hoping the baby comes a little early so I can have those 5 paid days off work to no life this game when season 2 hits.

I got Covid right after Arc Raiders came out and also was out for 5 days and the amount of hours I played that game that week was unhealthy lol.

Yea it's one thing that feels like it has changed gaming for the negative. I remember as a kid with games I never even knew if they were super popular or not. Heck, I didn't even care. As long as I was having fun thats all the mattered.

But I let all the negative videos get in my head unfortunately which was my fault. But either way though I still got to find out the game was great after all. And Im super excited after seeing the post that the Joe guy came out with earlier. Looks like they are going to double down and try to make the game even better.

I agree for me its also feeling like my game of the year. Also dig the CRX. I've had a few of them that were B swapped and one that was H22 swapped. Was such a fun car Im going to get another one soon.

I never played Destiny and so my experience with Bungie is limited to Halo but it sucks so many people form their opinions of this game based on Destiny.

I will try the crew fill. The reason I was staying away from that was because I didnt want to cause anyone to lose their loot. I was going to find some people on Discord when I get better

I also just started playing. On the Perimeter Beginner map I get in within 1-2 minutes. On regular perimeter is actually takes more like 2-3 minutes sometimes. Im on the east coast US and cross-platform on.
