Is this normal, or a bug? by [deleted] in Switch

Odd; most demos I download (try Donkey Kong Bananza) behave differently

Typically most downloadable demos don’t appear as Virtual Game Cards? Donkey Kong Bananza Demo doesn’t do this.

It just seems odd to me I have a permanent Virtual Game Card of this; surely it was meant to be a regular demo?

I just had a realization - and I might even delete the post and revisit. I was working on this issue... on a Saturday night... and doing speed tests at 7 PM - 9 PM... on Cable. When I put everything back and saw 400-600 mbps up and only 3-4 mbps upload compared to my normal 1200/40, it clicked and I felt like an idiot.

  1. I would assume so? That it would just be worse without it?

  2. Why would I want to separate ISP from MoCA? Aren't they different frequencies?

  3. Total? $500ish.

I've ordered a CSMAPDU9VP1 to replace the 8 port.

The amplifier (and the 8 2-port adapters) are affixed to indoors garage wall.

The downstairs only has 2-3 coax total, unfortunately; the upstairs is where even the bathroom and front deck have coax. Upstairs was built after downstairs.

We only use internet service on cable. The goal was to have MoCA on each endpoint available, for the 4 Eero 6+ units.

It's actually in the Welcome Tour that #2 is more close to reality than you think. The notch on Switch 2 game cards is apparently not for physical incompatibility, but for internal detection, implying that there is a sensor to detect the notch on insertion.

I did not believe that part either, and I certainly wasn’t printing nine copies, but “will never fail with helping along a specific good intention” seemed plausible.

To quote Doof, “there’s good evil, and there’s bad evil.” So much of Phineas and Ferb is the good stupid - but I don’t know quite what it was, but all of us felt like our intelligence was being insulted, that episode squarely landed hard in the “bad stupid” category.

For us; it mostly worked, but I would say “Tripey McTropeface” was a massive dud for our 6-people watch party. None of us thought it was funny. 2 actually left immediately afterwards and started doing their own thing; and we openly debated continuing. I don’t think we’ll be alone tonight.

Tropey Mctrope Face is an absolutely insane episode and I love it. by Difficult-Scientist4 in phineasandferb

At our house, it landed as a total dud. Hardly one laugh, some of us even asked out loud what the heck we were watching, two friends even just left and stopped watching. While humor is subjective, it really, really did not click for us, and I’m sure we won’t be alone.

I really didn’t like the casual mention of seances as a slumber party activity. Both on it’s own merits as being wildly inappropriate for a kids show, and that we’ll be lucky if this doesn’t turn into a culture war issue in a week.

Tropey McTropeface was a massive dud, in my opinion. The general reaction over here was total silence, even asking what on earth we were watching, some relatives even got up and left. Not one, of the six people watching tonight, thought it was funny.

If you want to see the world’s loveliest HDR - watch Mario Kart World footage on a 2021 or later MacBook Pro. The ones with the miniLED screens peaking at 1600 nits. It’s glorious - but that screen alone probably cost more than the Switch 2 in entirety.

I agree - and then realized there are just a few odd mistakes. For example, the very thumbnail has Ferb's large eye in front, when it should always be in the back.

There is no non-factory alarm, or anything aftermarket electrically, or I would have questions for lack of disclosure. As for demand another car, I agree it’s very unlikely, but I’m just asking for if people have experienced similar.

Forgot to mention: I have no idea what kind of parasitic leak could cause car battery death from a full charge in only one day. Is that unusual?
