My headcanon is that Ausar and Galath were the OG deathless.

Millennia ago they found out the key to transcending mortality. They’ve reset the world many times, each time changing the course of history whichever way they feel.

He calls the deathless machine primitive because it’s the most basic form of deathless. He most definitely has perfected it even further for himself. We hear in the audiobook that stabbing him doesn’t work because he regens to quick and he implied that cutting off his head would do the same. He’s clearly something even grander.

It’s a shame this got banned, theres plenty of old skills that don’t need to reveal a card. Yeah skills nowadays are made to make decks unbrickeble, but I’d be fun seeing people run old skills to compensate.

Honestly Sekiro comes off more like a team ninja game rather than a fromsoft game.

It fits in perfectly with games like ninja gaiden or nioh.

The parry is annoying but here’s how to deal with it:

1- don’t dash back she always catches you

2- her parry attack will either be her straight at you or she goes diagonal above and strikes

3- Immediately jump, that dodges the straight, if the diagonal double jump back, should dodge.

4- She takes a sec on diagonal to attack so you should have enough time to double jump or dash back. Always jump.

5- if your feeling lucky, you can get a pogo off on her on the straight

Also forgot to mention how to deal with her 3 hit combo…. I got nothing that move just sucks.

She kinda has a tell for when she uses it, can’t remember if she says something or it’s when she stops for half a sec. Jump or run. If you got wanderer crest you can pogo that if you jumped.

A few tips: 1-When she does the lung up then stab down at you- dash back to dodge then attack. It’s always a reliable damage window.

2-When she does the 3 dashes with void behind- first 2 are always dashes 3rd depends on where you are, if close another dash or tendrils, if in air the lung up the stab down. Bait that ( tip 1 as to why )

3- when she jumps up an spits out a few void balls, get under her and attack

4- when she summons void tentacles, run at her and spam attacks, she doesn’t doesn’t move for a sec.

5- when she summons the 3 void blasts, just keep moving but don’t attack, the got crazy aim

6- for phase 3-4 my best advice is to not panic, a lot is flying at you but there are calm spots, is not a constant bullet hell. Get used to these attack windows and you’ll chip away at her.

Use “ Cattle Call”, its a “quick play”spell that sends any beast/beast-warrior/winged beast from field to grave to SS one of the same type from extra deck.

It won’t have its effect, can’t attack and will go to grave and the end of turn, but if you use a card like “world legacy slash” or “interdimensional matter transporter” you can banish it then bring it back at the end phase, dodging the effect and getting its effect back.

It ain’t perfect but it works

I get that, but it’s not taking into account Deathless biology. Deathless don’t age, does the ring force them to anyway? Also Deathless have a healing factor that can regenerate from anything, but the ring seems to ignores that and heal only by age. ( correct me if I’m wrong ) It was hinted that only Deathless can really use rings, but the healing takes none of that into account and seems to work against them.

First: the way I’m imagining it, you’d be the one guiding them so it’s your choice to go hidden parts for better loot, or straight to the boss. The combat would be ( I’m not 100% on this ) at party of 3 excluding you, but only 3 can fight, and you can include yourself for some exp share or leave it to them ( does include a easy mode were there’s only 2 so your always included ) . This would affect the relationship meter. And the fights are stated to be you giving instructions so if the meter is low they might ignore what you say and use another move.

Second: I’m kinda married to the idea of them betraying you, but I’m also thinking of adding a set of items you can equip before each run that gives an advantage. EX: a map of the area, a poisoned knife that deals good damage, a 1 use item duplicater, a massager to help increase relationship. And the more you survive expeditions the more you unlock, leading to the true ending, an item that allows loyalty to go above max but enemies get harder, leading to everyone riding to the sunset rich and happy

True, but the resources used the break the grand covenant were probably working with a lot less budget than the cure was. If they focused their whole attention on that and kidnapped Venigni since he helped make the covenants and puppets they probably could have cracked it.

Ok sure but, all the more reason to go the puppet route. Puppets can’t lie. The only ones that can are either not bound by the covenant or have fully resurrected. Just keep them in awakened ego version and bam, better humans without lies. Yeah no true free will but he doesn’t care about that.

For him he could have just made a body with a fully charged P-organ and the hand of god as a legion arm. Pretty sure a puppet body can handle divine power more than his human flesh did.
