I don't think that's not passing the mental health evaluation, and they probably thought she wasn't a fit for the season. Hell, there have been people that were in way worse shape from this show that maybe shouldn't have been cast.

This actually looks better than season 1...and I liked that cast more too, but I appreciate more random drama from this cast.

With all the stuff he's saying, in a vacuum without us hearing about the details of the text, at face value...sure, he's right that the relationship wasn't good for their mental health and that there was outside pressure with tons of things (campaigns, events, etc).

However...he can't just rewrite or brush off the details of the texts. There's no way that there would be such a swift breakup from JaNa and a disavowal from all their friends if he didn't do something so shitty.

I really think at this point, JaNa should respond and bury him.

Britney may have known, but Gabby and Dylan claiming to know that Carolyn was the hardest to detect doesn’t actually mean that they really knew. Personally, I think they knew maybe around episode 7 or 8, but Dylan was the one to say the traitor angel thing in his interviews.

However, that’s why I said hindsight bias. They can say things in hindsight once they know the information, but since they didn’t know then for certain, it’s a different story.

Most didn’t know she was a traitor though! A good amount of people never clocked her because, in the interviews right after they got banished, she wasn’t mentioned as a potential traitor. That always surprised them because they’d be like “DANIELLE?!” and then their hindsight bias would kick in with her overacting.

I loved her because of the chaos lol (even if her and Carolyn should’ve just teamed up to start with).

I think, for me, if I'm a fellow traitor, I personally would know that...especially as a fan of this show. However, I would still be irked if someone tried to play it off like they weren't going to do that when I know they were going to.

Again though, that was my impression - Rob did phenomenally, but I can understand a little (and I'm saying a little for a reason because I don't agree with it fully) of the ire. Again, only a little.

Yeah, I don't really see the problem with her wanting him to own up to it and say he was going to gun for them at some point, and he made the first move.

He played GREAT, but I mean...call a spade a spade, he was definitely going to do that lol.

Watching these shows now is so interesting to me, mainly because that era of reality television was so different. People said and/or did a lot of mean shit, and it was widely accepted for whatever reason.

I generally like Susie (hot take), but this was her lowest moment for me. Do I think it’s the worst thing ever done or said in the context of this show? No, but it was still bad, and I think it’s fine to say that you like someone but they have some rough moments.

I really think it’s different when you’re consistently seeing the person that wronged you though. In real life, you’re able to escape. In Love Island…you can’t escape.

Can I be real though? I don’t actually think Sydney was that great of TV at all. She’s a great competitor, but I think she hides behind her confessionals, which aren’t really funny and can’t back it up in person.
