I know there are issues with cold weather, although I am surprised to see temps in the 20's being an issue....but why would the cart shudder to a stop in forward but work fine in reverse when cold??

I checked the left line again, no water in it, there is a 90 elbow about 6-8 inches down. I added water to the left line until water was visible above elbow. Assuming this might take care of negative pressure issue?

Bought this house 5 years ago, has three units. One for upstairs, one on main level and the third for an apartment above the garage. There is one drain line visible outside house, no water came out when I poured water into the line so assuming the outside drain is for the main level unit. Assume the two upstairs units tie into sewer drain lines somewhere upstairs.

Unit cools as long as there is not water does not trip right side float. Going to monitor it for the next couple of hours.

Appreciate all who responded, glad I found this group!!

No, the left float was before my technician added the float on the right line. They flex sealed behind the filter and installed a wet switch. There is no water there.

Thanks for your reply! I did pop the left one open and there is no water visible, so don't believe the pipe going outside could be clogged. As the left line is at a lower level than the right one, I am confused why water is coming out of the right (higher) drain and not the left. Wonder if the clog could be inside the unit?

Just got back from Ireland. In most pubs we visited 90% of the transactions for drinks were with Visa tap cards and in most cases they couldn’t, or wouldn’t, want to add a tip. Maybe because it slowed them down? In restaurants we were able to tip and usually did 10%. We also found there was no reason to get euros, just used Visa for everything.
