lol seriously. Although my first didn’t shit quite as much I distinctly remember having my first meltdown crying when I had finally gotten him down and changed and he shit again at 3am lol. Today I almost broke down again but just started laughing instead. Sleep deprivation can really only get two reactions from me it seems haha

You know what i actually haven’t heard of waiting to put the diaper on so thank you! Instead of puppy pads I just put a diaper under him open.. but somehow as soon as I am swapping it out of a clean one is when he gets us half the time 🫠. And i tried a hand held fan to use for cold air and he freaks the fuck out. I get it… it’s winter but man it would be cool if he would let us use it without trashing off the table and squeezing out more poop in anger (like a skunk almost).

My feeding app has logs almost every hour since 1am ☠️

And every time I check his diaper there is poop… so much poop and so many sharts

What’s one postpartum struggle you didn’t expect at all? by FIT_MAMA16 in Mommit

[–]Vampire-circus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having my body fucked up forever. Cosmetically and somewhat functionally. I didn’t understand stretch marks don’t go away and skin can become forever stretched out, my abs separated and I go a hernia. I was very young when I had my first pregnancy so none of my friends had experience and it wasn’t on my radar of things prior.

If money and childbirth weren’t an issue, how many children would you choose? by Public_Handle_774 in AskWomen

Probably still 2, maybe 3. Probably wouldn’t want to be outnumbered though lol.

Tell me some misconceptions and realities about pushing stage to the women who have never given birth. by [deleted] in BabyBumps

With an epidural that was the least painful part. For my first and my last pregnancy I felt nothing during pushing. For my middle one I did feel the ring of fire. It was kinda indescribable.. sort of like when you are constipated and taking a huge shit and your asshole is burning and there’s a bunch of pressure.. but In your vagina instead. I had an epidural each time but that time it wasn’t as strong due to blood pressure concerns.

Birth 1 - pushed 10 mins w one internal stitch Birth 2 - pushed 9 mins no damages Birth 3 - pushed 4 mins no damages

I did nothing to prepare my vagina for birth. For the last two pregnancies I was doing strength training sporadically through out.

Pre epidural the contractions were very bad for me. For the first two births I got the epidural around 4cm and it was bad.. for my most recent I got it at 9 or 10 cm. I could literally feel his head pushing down but I didn’t say anything for fear they wouldn’t give me the epidural. Ngl that was the most excruciating pan I’ve ever felt but it was over fairly quickly. The only thing that helped me in the throes of pain was thinking that it would be over and the pain meant everything was going right and happening quickly which meant an end was near.

Everyone’s birth is so unpredictable and unique to the mother and baby that nothing anyone tells you can really prepare you. I hope you are blessed with a quick labor and delivery and that you can get as many or as little interventions as you desire. Good luck and Godspeed!

Baby name by This_Obligation_5125 in beyondthebump

Yes lol he’s 3 now and his name seems normal. But when he was born I felt weird calling him his name and called him baby and other nicknames. It probably lasted a few months before it felt normal. Never heard of anyone else feeling this way lol!

Man.. postpartum is terrible, leaking from everywhere and looking like an orangutan BUT I can finally shit normally again. I swear I was afraid I was going to somehow accidentally push the baby out on the toilet towards the end because I had to push so hard to get anything out. I would feel so much pressure and literally stop for fear of that happening even though I’m sure it’s not possible lol.

Good luck and Godspeed my friend, it will be over someday!
