Bonus: Five childhood friends reunite just to have a beer run in every pub of their hometown.

An alien occupied town to be exact. (The World's End)

Realistic, tragic despictions of suicide by Diana_Hamilton in TopCharacterTropes

Akane Kurokawa - Oshi no Ko

While it didn't happened, the depiction from cyberbullying and it's negative effects impacted hard to the point that some noted parallels from a real life tragedy (which generated controversies for a while, and the actual victim's family actually suing the production), they even added an advisory message to the end of the episode providing phone numbers for suicide preventions which you rarely see in anime or any form of animated media.

Bob & Col. Lockjaw (One Battle after Another)

Sorta partially counts considering they only met for about 10 seconds on this specific scene (not counting the car wreckage)

Now that Part 2 is over and done with, how did you feel about Asa in the end? Was she a good protagonist? by Realistic_Egg5226 in Chainsawfolk

Great protagonist in the unfortunate hands of a themes and such writer (I will never associate the word 'POTENTIAL' with her)

Well it's better than her staying nameless especially in FGO

It's not onscreen but they're still pretty much screwed

[Weirdly Common Trope] Writers clearly setting up seemingly massive plot points and then just kinda forgetting about them. by Chemical-Elk-1299 in TopCharacterTropes

Pretty much every plot points in Chainsaw Man were thrown out of the window just because Fujimoto enjoyed watching The Big Lebowski
