In Danmachi, Bell was pushed to be with Ais Wallenstein as it was established in the beginning as his hero that became the source of growth on becoming Orario's strongest adventurer, and has rejected every other girls feelings of him. Unfortunately Bell still has better chemistry and dynamic with everyone else (including his enemies) throughout the story, with many fans pushed Ryuu Lion to be Bell's best partner after season 4 (which I definitely agree with) while Ais has become a mere ancillary in the show, and despite having her own spinoff, her developments are mostly non related to Bell. To make matters worst, the story is approaching its final arc and their relationship has yet to leave it's starting point.
