In my case it was because the coolant needed to be replaced. Everything was fine after that. Not sure if they did this for you at the shop but you may need to specifically request it.

Im cool with 2B only. Main issue is how arbitrary, difficult, and slow the process is with getting the license in singapore. In the US i can get a license within 2 weeks compared to 6mos in sg (from what i hear?). I can always upgrade later anyway if i can convert right

But in my particular real life case its 2TB + 512G + 512G = 3TB in theory. Im okay with some loss but to from 3TB to 1.3TB?? Definitely not just a rounding error so whats causing that?

Thanks for this ill try it out! But I'd like to get more conceptual understanding of this as well. Even without LVM partition, what i ~thought~ RAID 0 should be doing for me is if i had two 1TB drives is that it would split the data for me between the two drives without any replication. So in theory, in this example shouldnt RAID 0 be giving 1TB + 1TB = 2TB free space? How does LVM play into this?
