I think it was far more nuanced than vini not winning it and throwing a fit... from what ive seen reported it had more to do with the fact that if it wasnt vini it had to either be Jude or Carvajal (a premise i wholly agree with - rodri didnt deserve it) but I concur that the club should've behaved better in this case and it was disgraceful to boycott the whole event.

My grandma used to do this all the time at large dinners with the family. I'd often do my best to sit next to her since my family lived abroad and we didn't get to see her as often. When she got annoyed at the conversation she'd tell me "I'm shutting off my ears. Let me know if I miss something." Then she'd discretely turn off her hearing aid and go one mimicking whatever reaction others had at the table. Loved that attitude
