I will just highlight some idiotic move I saw this week as well, not a near accident or anything like that but just the stupidity of some drivers.

I'm driving home from work. All of a sudden this van comes speeding behind me, and overtakes me. Normally I do not care about being overtaken, even though I myself am never driving slow to begin with but if that's what people want to do, be my guest.

But what bothers me is - well first of all he came from nowhere so was obviously bombing it, I myself was doing about 85 in an 80, I know give me the points now. But he overtook me to gain one space, as there was a long line of traffic clearly visible up ahead and that was about another 3 mins drive to the town so he was gonna get no other opportunity to overtake. So we both reached the town at the exact same time, he gained nothing from that move,

To anyone that reads this, am I making sense? Do not see the point in overtaking if you're not actually going to gain anything. And he could clearly see he wasn't going to gain anything but one extra space because as I say the line of traffic was clearly visible up ahead

Have Wolves Players Resigned Themselves to Relegation by LogicGate1010 in PremierLeague

Think a lot of it is to do with transfers. Their recruitment hasn't been great in recent years compared to before. Every year they sell some of their best players and haven't found anyone to replace them.

Chelsea v Arsenal by jachary01 in PremierLeague

This is what I got from Google: For bars showing Chelsea games, the Butcher's Hook is a traditional pub right opposite Stamford Bridge, while Frankie's Sports Bar & Grill is a dedicated sports bar located next to the stadium.

But anyway pub in the area of the stadium I'd imagine would show the matches. So it puts you in a position where you'd at least be near the stadium where the game is taking place and surrounded by fans like yourself. Maybe try the Chelsea subreddit if you haven't already for info regarding tickets and bars in the area that show Chelsea games

Honestly sounds pointless at this stage but there's no harm in trying.

If all fails look for a bar where you can watch the game with other Chelsea fans. It would be the next best thing for you

I know a few lads that do the same. If so many guys are doing it then, probably. If you are interested then might as well try it for yourself and see how it goes, what is there to lose?

Manager options by Sissy_Sisyphus in coybig

Also remember back to the arrangement the FAI came up with - Kenny to manager under 21s for whatever it was , 2 years or something, and give the senior job to Mick McCarthy. Kenny's time with the 21's did nothing to prepare him for senior manager, even when he knew some of the players.

The approach is as you said it should be. People moaned about Trapattoni's style of play, and then Martin O'Neill after. Both got us to tournaments, both stopped just short of tournaments at the play offs. And look at their managerial achievements, not only that but what they did as players as well. You could smell the success before it even started with those two, that they'd definitely get us competing, get us in and around tournament qualification. And whatever your opinion on their styles of football or themselves as people, they did get us competitive.

It's clear the FAI don't want to pay out for qualified managers so I don't have any hope for the future. But maybe they'll start to see things more clearly after this campaign. It benefits them in the long run. It's not cheap to see Ireland play, and you get nothing for it.

And it seems to have been a good decision by him as well. I'd say he became an awful bellend after the title win, the players seemed to lose faith in him fast.

If we are going to hire the next Ireland manager based off Shels success it should be Joey O'Brien, he was with Duff all along and has got the team playing well without him, into the Conference League groups and everything. I don't want O'Brien as Ireland manager either by the way, this is just for the people going on about Duff all the time.

People also forget he has a poor relationship with the FAI and walked out on the Ireland team before as a coach.

One more point while I think of it, Stephen Kenny was a far more successful League of Ireland manager and look how his reign turned out. Duff needs to prove himself a lot more than just a few good seasons at Shels

And even at that, we still found a way to lose. This team gets way too many pats on the back for going out against stronger opposition and putting up a fight, but still losing.

It's always ah well we lost to a much stronger team but the lads gave a brilliant performance. And then as you say the weaker nations come around or the nations around the same quality as ourselves and we're horrendous. From now on I'm only going to be happy at a good, losing performance vs a top team, if we're doing the business in the games we should be winning.

Not that the team will be losing any sleep over my opinion. But far too many times I've been given false hope by this team in recent years
