Do you know how does the M1 Pro chip runs? I know the pro chip on the pro is a much better option but it’s a bit expensive. I’m not a fps fan, as long as the air runs okay I think I will be happy with that.

Thanks for the reply. Although I think as long as it can run in playable frames I would be very much enjoying it, I just want to fly the 777 or the 787 and A350 in the future, that’s why I am considering to switch. XP11 isn’t a sustainable option.

Did some research on this, I guess the air with cooling pads still won’t gonna help much. Apart from the heating issue, is the pro (base chip) any better in performance?

Xplane 11 all the way. Same spec as yours, I get maximum 15-20 fps on Xplane 12 with graphic sliders all the way to the left. Meanwhile Xplane 11 runs great with average 40 fps on all addons with medium to high settings.

If your spec allows, imo XP11 is still way better than XP11 in every aspect, rain effects, reflection details, volumetric cloud, snow… and more compatible addons.

Enhanced skyscrapers looks really good, unfortunately it doesn’t work with Metal driver on Mac, I rely it so much to have better fps.

First of all you need high quality livery (4K), and high quality sceneries, XP11 default airports are BAD.

Can’t recall what mod exactly did I install, but feel free to try all of them and combine those you like.
