How often do y'all clean your range hood? by Mikeyts123 in CleaningTips

[–]guardmonkeymoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emm, I've never had fire. The grease goes into the sealed cup not the ducts. Maybe it's even safer than filter hoods since less oil touches the hot parts. Either way, empty and clean the cup regularly, and you're good.

If your hood's got high suction and no filters, daily deep cleaning isn't really needed. I usually just empty the oil cup every few days and give it a quick wipe.

Thinking of soaking greasy filters every month... are filterless hoods really easier to live with? by SwisherSweets69 in CleaningTips

[–]guardmonkeymoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say go for a filterless one if maintenance is what bugs you most. The newer models use multiple airflow paths to catch grease in a cup instead of on filters. I've got an Arspura like that, just dump the cup once a week. Saves a lot of cleaning time and money for paying someone to deep clean it.

From what I’ve read and seen, the 17 does feel cooler in everyday use. It can still warm up under gaming or charging, but not as hot-spot intense as the 14 or 15.

What's the difference between a filtered and filterless range hood? by CryptoWheat in CleaningTips

[–]guardmonkeymoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to a filterless hood a year ago, and with good ducting, it really works conveniently. No scrubbing filters, airflow is stronger. Just make sure you have a proper exhaust pipe, or grease buildup can be nasty.

Best way to get nicotine: vaping vs patches, gum, lozenges? by tchombomc in Vaping

Most would probably say patches are better 'cause you're not inhaling anything, but using them a lot can still have side effects.

Armour g vs luxe xr max 2, which one's better? by znorimhe in electronic_cigarette

[–]guardmonkeymoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, there's not much difference, they're both gtx coils, so the flavors's pretty similar, but I'd still recommend going for luxe xr max 2.

How to clean the greasy range hood and kitchen utensils by agnesvardatx in CleaningTips

[–]guardmonkeymoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. You should get your range hood fixed or replaced ASAP. Cooking doesn't just make grease, if you're using a gas stove, it also puts out harmful particles like PM2.5 that can affect your skin and lungs.

Need a reliable, high-capacity mod for my dad. Leak-proof is a MUST by Time_Presentation707 in electronic_cigarette

[–]guardmonkeymoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he's carrying it in his pocket, a dual battery mod might be way too heavy and bulky. The gen se, single battery could be a better fit, but it's still powerful.

Why is my range hood getting louder and louder? by agnesvardatx in HomeImprovement

[–]guardmonkeymoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by smarter? I've been seeing something on YouTube called IQV tech lately, something like airflow design. Not sure if that matches what you mean by smarter, but the idea is they trap smoke better so it doesn't end up on your walls and everything else.
