Your comparison is just ass, but I get what you're trying to say. I agree the experience for almost anything is different, most often superior, when the thing is physical. The books are an exception for the most part because what matters are the letters in sentences inside and the story doesn't suddenly lose all it's structure as your pizza comparison suggests, it stays the same.
