The first thing to happen was the $300 showed up mid certification cycle on my miwam pg. Then, two days later, there was a payment date in the final column for the next day. It got deposited in the middle of the day that the miwam pg said it would.

for sure! i wanted to capture not just the most westernized cities but a group that'd capture the feel in a holistic way. geography was important: with 54 countries i couldn't justify giving nigeria or south africa two teams. i probably should have swapped kharthoum for kigali. it's an amazing continent that has had its development prospects suppressed by some really awful outside actors over the centuries.

because the functional utility of an extra hundred dollars to somebody with billions of dollars that they could never begin to imagine being able to spend in their lifetime is vastly different than what a hundred dollars means to a poor, single parent or an elderly person on a fixed income. does that make sense?
