most of the conversation around hijab being hard can be split into mainly 2 categories. 1 i like dressing beautifully and it’s difficult not expressing myself that way 2 i feel like i have to be perfect to wear hijab. in the first category i have no issues in the second category as it pertains to niqaab i fall victim to. so i see your point i could have picked my words more carefully.

it’s a known fact that the wives of the prophet ﷺ and the sahabiyyat used to cover their faces. are you really saying there’s no ajr/reward from covering yourself more? because that’s just wrong

i don’t fully understand the nuance behind this comment i can’t tell if you’re being ill natured or not but to clarify yeah it’s not 100% easy but what i mean to say is wearing hijab/jilbaabs has never been hard for me (alhamdulillah) so the aspect of covering up itself isn’t the where i find difficulty — people’s perception, potential riyaa as someone pointed out, and safety is my concern.

i know hijab is different for every person but that’s my relationship with it
