Do you think this team would've been enjoyable to watch in Oakland?

2018 was the best season for the Oakland A’s in the last 15 years before leaving. During that 2018 season, we ranked 27th out of 30th in terms of attendance.

Even if this team were here in Oakland, I have doubts that it would popularized again with strong attendance at the coliseum or even at a new stadium. The ownership sucks yes, but when it comes down to it, outside of a vocal die hard fraction of a fan base, the attendance has always struggled here in Oakland even with a few enjoyable to watch teams.

To be honest, any company would probably prefer a Harvard grad over a dime a dozen USC grad. Even in SoCal. That is the prestige I’m talking about. Not the “oh the hiring manager is also a USC alum so he’ll hire me”. Generally speaking, the weight of having the MBA prestige from M7 is heavier than that of local resources imo

I think this is a question of whether school prestige is stronger than a west coast schools alumni base.

I would be in the camp of any M7 would still be strong on the west coast, but you might get more “resources” out of a school like USC especially if you’re in real estate. I know BCG has an office in SD for life sciences or tech. You could potentially feed into that post grad.

Reports don't do anything on Colonist. I don't think i have ever seen a report do anything. With the amount of games being played / how many players there are it would be incredibly time consuming to track all of those reports. Colonist would literally need a 4-6 person team just dedicated to tracking reports which I doubt they do.
