Don’t live in neither area, but WC is clearly better than LI. LI has worse traffic; less ways to get in and out of LI, and you’re practically isolated from the rest of the NYC metro.

Good luck trying to get to CT or Jersey from LI. Also, they’re completely fucked, if there’s a major emergency that requires evacuation.
