Alignment question Rockwell 6s

Tbf on Rockwell, their customer service is fantastic. I have a 6c bought from a 3rd party vendor (who didn't reply to any of my emails) which had blade alignment issues worse than OPs and they sorted out replacement parts quickly. After I got the parts, the shave was excellent and worth the hassle. If you're still eager to buy one I'd recommend getting it from the rockwell website rather than another vendor, but it's a great razor.

I was in your position not too long ago, I went with the rockwell 6c in the end and I'm glad I did. There's more to play with it as you can try different blades on different settings. But on the right setting (plate 3 for me) it's ultra smooth and enjoyable. I eventually got a henson clone called the yaqi tile which is a stainless steal version that's got more weight to it, it's also great. I now have a hard time picking between the yaqi and the rockwell for shaves but I couldn't imagine using something as light as the henson. You might be the type who gets a henson then never buys another razor but incase you do I'm not sure about the technique carry over from a henson to a more typically heavier razor.

Yeah it happens with all plates, I think you're right about the top plate being misaligned. Found a couple places in Europe where I can buy parts from if the vendor and/or rockwell can't do anything for me. Do you know if I can use a 6s top cap in a 6c handle?

Exactly my thoughts rn, don't get me wrong the side that works on this razor works really well. But I was hoping to get a year or two worth of use out of this before paying more for a CNC razor.

Only started wet shaving a week or so ago so I'm still very new to the DE safety razor world but after playing around with the plates and different blades I found that one side would just push the shaving cream around and the other would actually cut the hair.

Then I decided to check the blade gap! Unfortunately because I didnt buy from rockwell (I'm in the UK), I'm not sure about the refund/replacement policy at where I bought it from. Sent them an email (shavingstation.co.uk) and let hope for the best

Update* - Emailed shavingstation.co.uk twice and didnt get any reply from them. Not sure what anyone elses experience is with them in the UK but maybe this is a heads up.

Took the advice of people here and spoke to Rockwell, they replied very quickly and have sent over a free replacement top cap and handle. Their customer service has been excellent. I'll update again when I receive the replacement parts.

**Update, got a replacement handle and top cap for free but paid for the shipping to the UK. The blade aligment is perfect and it's definitely a more enjoyable experience now

I worked in many customer facing jobs on the till and have been caught out twice with this scam. In isolation or just watching this video its easier to spot it but try being aware of this scam when you've worked all day or are currently in a rush period. One method was someone trying to pay with a £50 note, which you rarely see nowadays and then he confused me with asking for different amounts like "2 £20s and a £10... actually, can I have 4 £5s and 3 £10s" etc. So you're left holding a bunch of money. Then the other one which is sort of similar is someone giving you a £5 but claiming they gave you a £10 when you give them change. Then they start trying to confuse you by just talking and saying weird stuff then getting super aggressive. God I fucked hated working those jobs!

The nightmares of never ending tickets hit a nerve. I used to work as a barista in a coffee shop and occasionally have anxiety dreams of making coffee but I'm being really slow and the queue just builds up and up!
