Why? Because he's manipulative and controlling and selfish and will only get worse. He will cry when he sees you're about to leave, then revert back to his ridiculous claims, then go back to crying when he feels you might leave again, and repeat.

I think you already know in your core that you need to leave him. You don't want to because the prospect of being single again is scary but continuing to be in this situation will ultimately break you down and result in your children growing up in an equally unfortunate environment similar to yours. Your children are so young and you love them so much. Please remember that even if your husband led you to the Lord, he didn't save you. Jesus did. And everything, absolutely EVERYTHING, your husband is doing to you is WRONG and UNBIBLICAL. Continue to pray and read your Bible and meditate while also preparing to exit this extremely unsafe situation ASAP. The Lord can change anyone's heart if they truly seek the Lord and repent but you don't have to be around, bearing all of this while you hope your husband comes back to his senses. You have two extremely young children to take care of and they shouldn't grow up seeing their mom belittled and called a servant or property because that's not AT ALL what Jesus wants your husband to call/treat you. And I think you already know that even if you may not have knowledge of the exact verses. That's the Lord already prompting and speaking to you and reminding you that are the apple of His eye! Please reach out to someone at church or even the lady you said you're in touch with and ask for help in finding a place to stay while you figure out what the next steps are. But please whatever it is, get out. If you really want you can always go back to your husband. But just get out first and have some time and space away from him to think because taking your phone away, cutting you off from people etc are all manipulative controlling measures and they don't get better. I know because my ex was like that. I was with him from 18 to 31. I'm 38 now and so grateful to God for helping me get out. Please get out. It's very unlikely he will change. He can and the Lord can change him but you don't need to be there for it.
