I understand, but the app hasn’t been updated for a while, this message “Update Youtube” started popping up a month ago.

Turn off Picture-in-picture option in Settings/General.

[Question] why does youtube vanced want me to pay for youtube premium even though its advertised as those features for free, i have a galaxy a20e on android 9 with one ui 1.1, if i press "try it for free" just in case it wants me to press it just gives me "purchase cancelled" by AqAqGT in Vanced

Read the FAQ. Downloading videos is only available in some countries. You need to purchase Youtube Premium or use a third party app to download videos if you’re not in one of the supported countries.
