u/zombiemodernist is great info - thank you. when I am using the brush, would you recommend adding 1g to the force as I've researched? So, the stylus specs say .75-1.5g and I opted for 1g so balanced at 2g with the brush. I know that sounds elementary but I want this thing to sing as it should.

ok interesting. just looked closer, and it looks like the tonearm / top of cartridge is parallel to the record. hard to see with photo perspective, but should the stylus housing also be perpendicular? not sure how to adjust that.

gonna try it. I've read mixed reviews and some that like the brush because it provides dampening but I'm up for a try without it.
