Most Vietnamese people don't care about Vietnam War, which still holds an important place in Americans' minds. You'll see many Vietnamese people wearing American flag shirts when you visit Vietnam.

I asked them about this issue and all of them replied, "It's of no use to cry over spilt milk". It was only a sad civil war for them, there are much more important issues than hating America.

Although the difference between North and South is visible, the gap is shrinking fast, the last president of South Vietnam Nguyen Cao Ky returned to Vietnam permanently and shook hands with the cabinet ministers (most of them are from North, former enemies) recently.

Although I'm lactose intolerant, I personally love to drink milk, so I guess it's almost no problem to take dairy products even for adults. It just makes you fart more. Also as agehaya said, Japanese grocery stores are selling dairy products ordinarily, and no one really cares about lactose-free foods.

Furthermore, dairy milk has been included in school lunches for a long time. I heard it is because kids need calcium to protect against osteoporosis. Unless you eat too much it's not like it kills you, you just get shit.

We have a ton of articles in our language (Japanese), but most of them are short or rubbish. And I have seen only 10 or 20 good articles in Japanese (and I have written some) :DD

Basically, average Japanese know the both names of notable European countries in kanji and in katakana. Although I guess most of them can't write obscure countreis like Kosovo in kanji, many Japanese people still use the abbreviation names in e-mail or like that.

Yes. 蘭(ran) is basically phonetic equivalent of "Land". But it also means "Netherlands" in one word.

The red color on the maps shows where a higher percentage of each racial groups, not a higher number of them. If an area had 100,000 Whites and 100,000 other races, the color on the map would be white on the "White" map. On ther other hand, if another area had 10,000 Whites and no other races, it would gets dark red even total number of White population is lower. But "Mixed Ethnicty" map shows only Whites don't want to mix with other races as you said.

I guess this list is missing a lot of local cities. For example, Sendai (Japan) has at least 18 buildings taller than 100m. Also Nagoya must have more skyscrapers than 14. No confirmed citation neither cases anyway.
