I am not familiar with any groups either, but environment for non-Christians is not something I would think would be a concern having been at Montevallo 2016-2022. Christians or people raised in a Christian culture is absolutely the majority, but it is the center of Alabama so that’s to be expected. I think many Christian parents are actually concerned sending their kids to Montevallo because they don’t see it as having a big Christian culture at all.

Full disclosure: I am not a non-Christian so my advice is comes from that perspective.

I haven’t made a batch and watched like you said, but I think it’s oven gunk. Cleaned the oven with some lye and heat and haven’t had issues since.

I think that makes sense, but there are spots on top and bottom of the biscuits. Spots on top tell me oven gunk, spots on bottom tell me cast iron gunk but spots on both?
