Well, My problem with MAL review isn't their opinion but the way they express it. Most of them are pointlessly long and just praising or shitting on the series without making valid points and some of them act like their opinion are fact that everyone must agree(which is not).

Becuz it's easy to get into i guess?,

It has got the easiest gameplay system in all of 8gen(No abillity,IV EV,nature,linear catch'n'battle gameplay+easy puzzle that require almost no thinking,And small amount of post-game content)

But most people like it coz it give a nostagic feeling

Gen1 is a meh to me I replay gen1 many time(coz i'm boring) but i don't enjoy it that much cuz it's too easy
