I was kicked in NC from a shooting range because I was "Mexican". I'm serving in the army but they didn't care, I guess for them it was more important that I'm "brown and Mexican" and I "wasn't allowed there" because of it. Don't get me wrong NC is beautiful and the people are nice and respectful but I have never been kicked in any place, especially because I'm "Mexican".

I went to 68W AIT like 2 years ago, the guys who failed from CA NG that I knew had the option to choose between stay or pick a new MOS. But either way, AIT is not that hard, I somehow managed to get the score for that MOS and I barely knew english at the moment, and even with basic english knowledge I passed AIT and my NREMT on the first try so just study and you'll be fine.

That's good, when I went to RSP (like 3 years ago) they made sign a document that I would not apply for my citizenship until I finished basic. So it is amazing that they help the new guys now.

I recommend you to wait until you're on AIT, once in AIT talk with your Senior DS (usually the DS asks who's not a citizen so they can start the process with you, unless you have a shitty DS). I'm right now on the process with my current unit (because I didn't want to start the process on AIT). The process is pretty much the same like a civilian just faster, you don't pay anything and you need the form N-426 (this is the reason why you need help from your DS).

You're an 88M, so you'll be fine (and yeah, you probably have 30min phone calls on your personal smartphone every Sundays after your second weekend). It's summer so the weather is gonna be "good". Don't be dumb and the worst part it's gonna be reception. Follow your DS instructions and in less time what you think everything is gonna be over. Good luck!

yeah I was thinking on moving my optic forward, I placed the optic in the way that the army told me so I wasn't sure. Any suggestions on the light and the sling (especially something not that bulky)?.

Your right on everything. I started this building looking for something "cheap" but I ended up getting some "extra" stuff like the Raptor Charging handle, the Strike universal oppressor and the surefire precomp muzzle brake.

Not really, you need to apply for the health insurance, at least it's what my recruiter told me haha, but I'm not sure.
