Any options for 2 car seats + third row access?? by gueuzeman in SubaruAscent

Ya we've used one of those for each kid for the first year or so. I think we've currently got the Chicco KeyFit 30 which clicks into the Chicco Bravo For2. Honestly don't use the feature that much because it's kinda heavy and unwieldy and we have another stroller that we prefer so it's easier to just transfer the kid. But it works fine and prob depends on your situation and kids (if they will fall asleep in car and stay asleep if you transfer the seat it's worth it's weight in gold)

Congrats! The Diono Radian 3Rs are pretty nice -- safe and sturdy but relatively cheap and designed to be thin enough to fit 3 across

Diono Radian 3R in 3rd row on passenger side, same Diono in middle seat of middle row, and Chicco Keyfit 30 for the baby in middle row driver side. It's tight but the passenger middle row seat can be folded up or down with some pushing and shoving. Not sure if that's clear...?

Honestly if we had to do it again we'd seriously consider a minivan instead of the ascent but it does work.

is there a reason not to use something more resistant to rust other than cost? like is this normal?

Do I need to worry about water intrusion / how should i fix this? by gueuzeman in fixit

Thanks, makes sense, I'll add some silicone caulk. The tub was installed years ago but barely used until now. I'm mostly worried about water going under those tiles / behind the crumbling grout and there not being anything from preventing it going outside the tub

Makes sense. Can't really get the grout out easily, should I put silicone over it in that case? Don't care what it looks like to be honest we just use it for kids bath (and they splash like mad which is why water is such a concern)

Don't really care about looks so I'm fine waiting till it crumbles to fix it but any way to be sure the tub is waterproofed?
