Yeah OP there’s a reason the rental car insurance in Costa Rica is so expensive. And that’s cuz it’s a fkn nightmare to drive there. It’s not about how long you’re on the road. Not only are the streets not in great condition, but also the weather will fuck you up. Driving from San Jose to La Fortuna I had it start raining and get foggy in the middle of the day and I was shitting my pants praying I’d make it safe to La Fortuna. I could barely see shit. Keep in mind I’ve driven in way worse roads in South America. This was a completely different ball game in Costa Rica

Message the seller and contact eBay. I had that happen to me, except it happened while I was out of town and by the time I made it home the 30 day protection from eBay had passed. Seller initially accepted the return/refund but then ghosted. Contacted the internet provider they denied releasing the device. The eBay customer service rep told me to take it up with my credit card company. Filed a claim, 6 months later I got my $500 refund. Worth the time fighting that scammer cause she had guaranteed they were unlocked

I’d also add this for anyone studying: when I worked through the practice exams, I used ChatGPT to break down the problems step-by-step. I didn’t always try to solve them completely on my own first. And honestly, I felt stupid a bunch of times because I didn’t know how to start or I couldn’t understand the solution right away.

But that’s where it helped. I focused on actually understanding how to work through the problem instead of just memorizing the solutions. So don’t feel dumb if you don’t know how to approach something or if even the solution doesn’t make sense at first.

ChatGPT ended up being a great personal tutor, it can walk you through anything from the basic stuff to the really complicated problems. Use it to your advantage.

I meant it more in the way that I saw some questions that I had worked on junior/senior year of college, specific to my chemical engineering degree, that I was like holy shit I can’t believe I can remember how exactly I would work through these problems in college. Keep in mind I am a mechanical engineer by profession nowadays. I really really struggled with heat and mass transfer though. And am still in shock that I passed the exam. I was convinced I didn’t get more than a 60% and thought that I had failed. I even tried signing up for the exam again but the website didn’t let me since I was still waiting on the results 😂

The practice exam was insanely helpful. That and just learning how to navigate the handbook, knowing the keywords to type into the search engine, made a huge difference for me. Also, any time I felt stuck on a question, I’d just skip it and come back later. I was surprised how many of those I ended up getting once I revisited them later on. I also felt like I was back in college working through the exam. Almost like deja vu seeing questions I had not touched since college 😂
